Mixing paint is such a hassle that it’s no wonder that the root of the word “paint” is “pain.”
I’m kidding. Relax. Return to normalcy.
Anyway, painting (root word “pain”) is the subject of which we are addressing today….

Golden’s new paint mixer is perfect for plastic model kit people. You find a drawing or a model or, getting a little crazy here, you find a photo of the real deal and you just click it and drag it into cyberspace. Then you mix it and drag it back out into Einstein space in your own little work-shed.
How cool is that?
The video shows, more or less, how to use the tool. It’s not foolproof but then again, nothing really is.

Brushing of white paint requires great peace of mind. The best I’ve found (as of today) is The Army Painter’s OLD FORMULA white. Yeah– yet another thing that’s now discontinued. I’ve got the new formula white and it’s not the same. What made the old paint crappy for most things made the white “special.”
